How it’s made:
Local Cambridgeshire Honey is harvested from the hives with frames filled with pure golden honey are taken to be processed straight away. The thin layer of beeswax, known as wax cappings, holding the honey in is removed. The pure delicate honey now free flowing from the frames are next placed in a honey extractor. Using centrifugal force the unpasteurised honey is spun and forced out onto the side of the extractor. After a period of time the honey settles to the bottom of the extractor it is then filtered to remove any debris such as beeswax whilst ensuring the natural grains of pollen remain, retaining the nutritional benefits.
