A quick catch up on recent months

It’s been a couple of months since our last post- and we’re really going to try to post a bit more!

Back in late July we attended The Great Sacrewell Farm and Food Festival. The weather was a bit of a washout after it had been amazing all week. It was the first food/craft festival Sacrewell had done, and it included some celebrity chefs and bread making in the water mill. They may be looking at doing a Christmas one too, so maybe we’ll be looking at attending that.

This weekend we did another stall at The Green Backyard in Peterborough. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s an urban community garden project that focuses on sustainability and raising awareness about environmental issues. They also have a refill shop, and next to that is where we had our stall set up along with 4 other stalls. A much smaller scale compared to the other stall we did, and of course the sun was shining all day here!

As we near the end of September, it’s time for us to start shutting down our hives for winter. Time to collect in and clean equipment, build new part, repair and restore old parts and start to process wax.

Thank you to all of you that have visited our stall and in particular those who purchased any of our products.

We look forward to meeting more of you at local event in the near future. We are currently in talks with various event organisers of medium to large scale events as well as potentially opportunities to be a pop-up stall in a city market. To keep up with our future plans either come back regularly and visit our latest news page or sign up to our newsletter.
